2 Still Wanted for Shooting at Westview and Poplar

On 03-25-12 at 12:05 p.m., Goldsboro Police responded to the intersection of Poplar Street and Westview Court, in reference to an individual being shot. Upon arriving they found the victim, Antonio Lamont Deans, of 511 N. Kornegay Street, with an apparent gunshot wound. Mr. Deans was a passenger in a vehicle at the time he was shot.

Mr. Deans was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then air-lifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigation Division was called to begin the investigation.

Through the investigation, arrest warrants have been secured on Braddock Bernard Gross III, black male, 20-years-old, last known address of 1218 Franklin Street, Goldsboro, N.C. and Billy Renaldo Hamm Jr., black male, 19-years-old, last known address of 1212 E. Elm Street, Goldsboro, N.C., regarding the shooting.  They are both each charged with 4 counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder, 2 counts of Discharging a Weapon into an Occupied Conveyance in Operation, and 1 count of Discharging a Weapon into Occupied Property Causing Serious Bodily Injury.

Anyone with information to the whereabouts of these individuals is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (919) 735-2255 or Inv. Crawford at (919) 580-4213.
