5 Suspects Stopped on 117/795 for Shoplifting at Spence Walmart

The Spence Walmart Asset Protection department said 5 subjects removed merchandise from the store that they didn’t pay for and left in a silver 2003 Monte Carlo.

The vehicle was located on Hwy  70 West near interstate 795 , where the merchandise was also recovered and the suspects returned to the store.   Stolen items recovered include 2 HP Desktop computers, 3-24 packs of Budweiser, 5 bath towels, 1 Better Homes and garden queen bed set, Two 6 packs of Mt Dew, 3 boxes of crackers, miscellaneous food, clothing, 3 bathroom mirrors and shower curtains and miscellaneous bath oils, all with an estimated value of property was close to $1260.

5 suspects were cited and arrested. Rocky Parrish (52) of Lizzie Mill Road in Selma was placed under a  $20,000 bond. Randall Keith Sykes (30) and  Wendy Leigh Martin (41)  both of Lizzie Mill Road were each placed under a $21,000 bond.  Leslie Frances Kelly (39) of Ginger Drive Princeton was placed under a $20,000 bond and  Heather Peedin (23) of Melvin Court Smithfield, was placed under a $21,000 bond.
