Woman Killed in Duplin County Crash

A Beulaville woman was killed Sunday after her vehicle overturned and she was partially ejected, according to troopers in a WITN report.

The wreck happened on NC 111 in Duplin County near East Duplin High School.

Troopers say 44-year-old Nadine Sumner was killed after she crossed the center line, over-corrected her vehicle, ran off the road, struck a tree, and then overturned.

Troopers say Sumner was not wearing a seat-belt. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
