Felon Arrested For Illegal Possession Of Firearm

A convicted felon from Goldsboro is in more trouble with the law after authorities arrested him for illegal possession of a firearm.

Michael Ray Ingram, 24, 1207 Stephens Street is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and carrying a concealed gun.

Agents with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team say a motor-vehicle violation prompted them to conduct a traffic stop. Those agents then smelt a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle followed. Ingram was arrested after authorities found a firearm under the passenger seat.

Ingram was taken to the Wayne County Jail where secured bond was set at $10,000.

Felon with a firearm should be five years prison. No excuses! Then add time for the crime committed. If a firearm is used while committing a crime, ten years in prison if no one gets hurt. Build some WW2 style internment camps for the gun felons. They would not cost much and don’t have to be comfortable.
