McKenzie Faggart Crowned Miss NC 2016

 

Miss Mecklenburg County, McKenzie Faggart, was crowned Miss North Carolina 2016 Saturday evening in Raleigh’s Memorial Auditorium.

Faggart’s year of service will take her to every corner of the state and she will represent North Carolina at Miss America in September.

 

Miss North Carolina 2016, a Concord native, is a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. For her talent, she performed a lyrical dance to “Rise Up.” Her platform is the S.A.F.E. Project.

Faggart served as Miss North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen in 2011.
