Highway Patrol Request Motorist to use Website

Locate Stored Vehicles with a Click

In an effort to curtail non-emergency calls as a result of Hurricane Matthew, the State Highway Patrol is requesting motorist to us an on-line tool which can be utilized to search for stored vehicles.

This information can be accessed by visiting the main NCDPS website at (www.ncdps.gov).  Once on the site, click the “Towed/Stored Vehicle Search” tab. From this web-based location, the public may enter search criteria to assist them in locating their vehicle which may have been stored by the Highway Patrol.

Owners of vehicles not towed and stored by the Highway Patrol will need to contact the law enforcement agency responsible for the jurisdiction their vehicle was towed.
