University Of Mount Olive Holds Fall Graduation (PHOTOS)

The University of Mount Olive held their sixty-third commencement excercise in the George and Annie  Kornegay Arena Saturday afternoon, in front of a packed house.

A total of 275 students waited patiently to received their well deserved degrees. The opening ceremony got under way with a prelude by the North Carolina Brass Ensemble, the processional, and the National Anthem.

The welcome and invocation was given by De Wayne Eakes, followed by the open remarks by Dr. Hines.
University of Mount Olive President, Dr. Philip Kerstetter had the honor of introducing guest speaker Thomas A. Walker Jr., President of Wayne Community College.
