Wayne County Residents Get Out To See The Snow And Ice

Saturday morning lots of people woke up to a big disappointment– no snow but a sheet of sleet and freezing rain across the county. Wayne County received a coating sheet of ice and sleet in yards and on roads. Not all hope was lost, as some of the northern portions of the county did get a light coating of snow. Not quite enough to make a snowman, but enough to smile about.

Dangerously cold wind chills and lingering ice and snow have Wayne County under a Winter Weather advisory. Temperatures will climb to 27 degrees today, drop to 9 degrees overnight into Monday, then only top out at 34 on Monday.
