Patriots Win The Super Bowl

The Patriots developed a reputation for playing nearly mistake-free football in winning four Super Bowl rings during the Bill Belichick/Tom Brady era. That brand took a beating against the Atlanta Falcons. But it wasn’t enough to deny them a win.

The Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime last night to win their fifth Super Bowl title. It’s also the fifth Super Bowl win for New England’s star quarterback Tom Brady.

New England Patriots fans took to the streets of Boston to celebrate their team’s win while Boston Mayor Marty Walsh took to Twitter late yesterday to congratulate the Patriots and announce a victory parade for tomorrow.

Lady Gaga dropped the mic on a halftime show big on flash and short of politics. Opening acts ‘Hamilton’ stars and country singer Luke Bryan sang patriotic anthems before the football game.
