GPD Search Warrant Leads To Arrest

On February 10, 2017, The Goldsboro Police Department VICE/Narcotics Unit, with assistance from GPD Support Services Division, Investigations Division, and Patrol Division, executed a search warrant at 811 E Walnut Street in reference to an on-going narcotics investigation. Approximately 17 grams of suspected cocaine and 23 grams of suspected marijuana, along with various paraphernalia items were recovered. As a result of the search, the resident, Carlie Demetrius Lewis was charged with felony manufacturing cocaine, felony possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, felony possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling for distributing narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lewis was jailed under a $15,000 secured bond.
