Women’s Lacrosse Defeats Catawba 12-3

The University of Mount Olive earned a 12-3 win over Catawba College in NCAA DII women’s lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon in Mount Olive, N.C.

Five Trojans were all tied with two goals apiece, as Young, Kali Ferguson, Micheala Ciciarelli, Jackie Kaderabek, and Saffron Sneathen each found the net twice. Defensively, Hailey Dobbins led the way with nine caused turnovers, three draw controls, and three groundballs. Freshman Sienna Miller (2-0) earned her second victory in goal this season, as she recorded 15 saves on 23 shots. The Trojans narrowly outshot Catawba, 30-23 in the win.
