Mark Your Calendar For The 31st Annual Daffodil Festival

The 31st Annual Fremont Daffodil Festival will be held on Saturday, April 1st in downtown Fremont. Streets will be full of vendors with art/crafts, food and other items. The festival will have talented local vendors as well as vendors from other parts of the state that will be joining in on the fun. The vendors will have it all: wreaths, birdhouses, door hangers, original oil paintings, ceramics, handcrafted leather goods, iron works, stone lamps, handbags and jewelry, handmade tie-deys, kids and adult books, hand painted glassware, monogramed adult and children’s clothing, decals and lots of other items. This year they will also feature vendors with retail items such as Scentsy, Lula Roe, Plexus, Tupperware and boutique clothing.

No one will leave hungry from this year’s festival. The festival will have a great variety of foods like hot dogs, ribs, fish, grilled chicken, BBQ, pork chops, cheeseburgers, turkey legs, shaved ice, blooming onions, polish sausages, philly cheese steaks, tacos, funnel cakes, and a seafood truck.

Go Wayne Go is sponsoring a 5K walk starting at 10am with the opening ceremonies and The Embers will perform from 12-2! For a full schedule of events, visit the festival’s website here.

There will be plenty of fun for children and adults with the children’s area, complete with: remote control racing, inflatable screamer slide, big top play-land, 40’ obstacle course, dunking booth, adventure bounce house, pony rides and Bella Express Trackless Train rides.

There will be plenty of chances to purchase and win raffles from local businesses and organizations, so take the whole family out to the 31st Annual Fremont Daffodil Festival!
