Early Sunday morning, firefighters from the Saulston Fire Department along with EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash with possible injuries on Hare Road near Tommy Road.
As fire and EMS personal arrived they found the driver trapped in the upside down car in the ditch. Firefighters had to use their extrication tools to stabilize the vehicle before the driver could be safely removed from the badly damage car. The driver was taken to the hospital. Officials on the scene said the car was heading South on Hare Road when it ran off the road on the left and struck a ditch and a driveway culvert and went airborne coming down and flipping several times before land upside down in the ditch facing North. Charges are pending at this time.
