Sarah Louise Evans Perkins, age 83, died Monday morning at her home. Born in Wayne County she was the daughter of the late Wade Hamilton and Lillian Farrell Evans and was the wife of Silas Henry Perkins of Goldsboro.

Private services will be held at a later date.

In addition to her husband, Sarah is survived by a son; Ronald Henry Perkins and his wife Carolyn Ann of Goldsboro, she was preceded in death by a son; Bryan Carson “Corky” Perkins and survived by his wife Wendy of Goldsboro, also surviving is her daughter; Barbara Jean Thornton and her husband Bob of Clinton, a brother; Thomas Carson Evans of Goldsboro, a grandchild; Steven Perkins and one great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be directed to her husband.
