Murder Arrest In Kinston

Kinston Police make a murder arrest. On Thursday, the Kinston Police Department issued a warrant for the arrest of 25-year old James T. Sparks, III of Cary.  Sparks was wanted for the May 14th shooting death of Vontrice L. Robinson.  On Friday, officers with the Kinston P.D., with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Sparks on George Street in Kinston.  Sparks faces charges of Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  He was placed in the Lenoir County Jail and held with no bond.
