UMO President Announces Retirement

The University of Mount Olive will be in need of a new president. UMO President Dr. Philip P. Kerstetter has announced he will retire at the end of the 2017-2018 academic year.  Kerstetter was appointed the 4th Mount Olive College President in 2009.  The accomplishments during Dr. Kerstetter’s tenure include transitioning Mount Olive College to a university, increased traditional student enrollment, and the startup of online programming.  UMO has hired the firm Academic Search to aid in the hunt for Kerstetter’s replacement.
