Kinston Shooting Suspect Arrested

A Kinston man is arrested for attempted murder. The Kinston Police Department was notified of a shooting on the 400-block of North Adkin Street around 8 AM Thursday.  Responding officers were told 23-year old Dedrick D. Dail, Jr. of Kinston had fired a gun at another person.  The intended victim was uninjured.  Dail was taken into custody Thursday evening.  He faces a charge of Attempted Murder.  Dail was placed in the Lenoir County Jail on a no bond hold.
