No one is injured when a Wayne County Public Schools bus strikes a tree. It happened Tuesday afternoon on Woodhaven Drive off Muriel Hooks Drive near 581 in the Rosewood Community.  The bus was taking students home from Rosewood Elementary when it struck a tree at the end of a cul-de-sac.  No one was injured and there was very minor damage to the school bus.  The State Highway Patrol says the driver reported the accident immediately as required.

I commend the bus driver for reporting the incident as soon as it happened. My child rides the bus to grandparents house and when the bus did not arrive on time, the school was called. Information was freely given and there were no worries. It was a minor incident on a rainy day.
