GPD K-9 Unit Back On Patrol

The Goldsboro Police Department reports a K-9 unit is back on the beat. K-9 “Ghost” had been out of commission since August 27th but was back on duty Wednesday evening.  “Ghost” was injured in an August 27th police chase.  A suspect fleeing from GPD officers allegedly broke a window causing injuries to the canine’s face.  “Ghost” had to receive stitches, and needed vet clearance before returning to full duty.
