Beale Street House Fire Deemed Suspicious

A suspicious house fire is under investigation in Goldsboro. A vacant residence on the 300-block of Beale Street went up in flames around 6 AM Monday morning.  The person reporting the fire stated he heard a loud popping noise coming from the area, and then noticed the home was on fire.  Emergency responders found the structure fully involved.  Once the blaze was extinguished, the Goldsboro Fire Department deemed the fire suspicious.
