Reading Between The Wines Benefits Literacy Connections

It’s the signature fundraising event for Literacy Connection of Wayne County. The annual Reading Between the Wines is being held this Saturday from 5:30-7:30 PM at the home of Dawn and Michael McDonald on East Walnut Street in Goldsboro.

Suzie Acree with Literacy Connections of Wayne County appeared on Thursday’s Morning Show with Jeff Farrow on Goldsboro’s Greatest Hits 1150 and 98.3.  She says Reading Between the Wines is an evening of food, wine and reading in a historic Goldsboro home.  Acree says the money raised from the event helps the non-profit Literacy Connections improve adult literacy in our area.

Tickets are $60 and can be purchased at the Literacy Connections office (2001-D E. Ash Street), at the Goldsboro Branch of the Wayne County Public Library, or online at literacyconnectionsofwaynecounty.org.
