Kinston Shooting Suspect Caught In Raleigh

A Kinston shooting suspect is captured by the U.S. Marshal Service Violent Fugitive Task Force. 18-year old Jahnari T. Wade of Kinston was located and arrested in Raleigh on Thursday.  Warrants had been issued for Wade in connection to the October 14th shooting at the Carver Court apartments.  21-year old Devon Brock was struck twice in the abdomen during the shooting, and has since been released from Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  Wade is charged with six counts of Attempted Murder, one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, five counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill, and six counts of Assault by Pointing a Gun.  He was placed in the Wake County Detention Center under no bond.

  1. That’s exactly why we need stricter gun control laws in this country. Just because these weapons of destruction are free to be bought and sold, there are criminals or those with such intent, using them to kill or scare. Enough legislation and discussions! It is time to act before it is really too late.
