Mt. Olive Library To Host Novel Writing and Local Author Event

In recognition of November as National Novel Writing Month, the Steele Memorial Library in Mount Olive, NC is hosting an event for people interested in how to get started on that elusive writing project they’ve always wanted to create. On Tuesday, November 14 from 6-7:30 pm, Alexis Davis, from the Writing Center at the University of Mount Olive, will tell you how to actually begin your novel this month. Her presentation will be followed by a showcase of local authors who will be available to sell and sign their books—just in time for your holiday shopping. Some of the authors in attendance will be Robert Watson, Phyllis Moore, Patti O’Donoghue, Michael Hunt and LaVone Hicks. This is a free event. For more information, contact the Steele Memorial reference desk at 919-299-8105, ext. 3.
