GPD Reports Warrant & Firearm Arrests

Officers make an additional firearm arrest while serving a warrant at a Goldsboro residence. On Thursday after 9 PM, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department were attempting to serve several warrants on 19-year old D’Qurious A. Bradford at an address on the 200-block of Fussel Street.  Bradford is a validated gang member.  Officers immediately made contact with two males at the location, one of which reportedly had a subcompact handgun firearm in his jacket.  19-year old Jyrus Langston of Goldsboro was taken into custody for Carrying a Concealed Weapon.  The second subject was released at the scene.  Officers then swept the property and located Bradford in the rear of the residence.  Bradford was taken into custody and the outstanding warrants were served for charges of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Altering a Gun’s Serial Number, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.  Bradford was held on a $75,000 secured bond.  Langston’s bond was set at $5,000.

  5. concerned citzen says:

As a gang member it’s quite possible that his other gang members have something to do with his release. Threats of violence toward the lawyer or the judge can make quite a difference is expect. Not that this is happening but just saying.

I imagine that D’Qurious has a theme song playing in his mind, possibly something like MC Hammer’s ripoff of Rick James’ ‘Superfreak’ called ‘Can’t Touch This’ as it appears that D’Qurious has complete immunity regarding crimes he has committed.. Uh huh.

  7. So good ole D’Qurious was out again? Probably again wreaking havoc on the citizens of Goldsboro. What is it going to take to get and/or keep this thug off the streets? Who keeps standing his bond? Obviously, as a “validated gang member” and a habitual offender, he hasn’t and probably never will “see the light” and willingly take the right course in life. Hopefully when he goes to court we’ll have a judge that sees that as well and won’t waste the taxpayers’ time and money by simply lecturing him and letting him off with a slap on the wrist. The cops are doing their part…now it’s time for the judges to step up and do theirs. If not, the voters need to reconsider their choices in the next election.
