Goldsboro High School Hosts Holiday Choral Showcase

Wayne County Public Schools students will use music to spread the holiday spirit throughout this week. Starting tonight(Tuesday), the annual district-wide Choral Showcase will feature performances spanning over three evenings at Goldsboro High School.  27 schools will participate in the Choral Showcase this year.  The schedule for the participating schools is as follows:

Tuesday, November 28: Charles B. Aycock High, Northeast Elementary, Northwest Elementary, Norwayne Middle, Rosewood Elementary, Rosewood High, and Rosewood Middle.

Wednesday, November 29: Carver Heights Elementary, Dillard Middle, Eastern Wayne Elementary, Eastern Wayne High, Eastern Wayne Middle, Edgewood Community Developmental School,  Goldsboro High, Greenwood Middle, Meadow Lane Elementary, North Drive Elementary, and Tommy’s Road Elementary.

Thursday, November 30: Brogden Primary, Carver Elementary, Grantham Elementary, Grantham Middle, Mount Olive Middle, Southern Wayne High, Spring Creek Elementary, Spring Creek High, and Spring Creek Middle.

Doors open at 5:30 PM and the programs begin at 6:00 PM each night. Guests need to use the side entrance along Beech Street closest to the Goldsboro High School main office.  Admission is $5 for each person and kids under 5-years old are admitted free of charge, with proceeds benefitting the choral programs at the participating schools.  This is the 17th year of the annual holiday showcase.
