City Plans Police & Fire Station Upgrades

The Goldsboro Police and Fire Station will be getting a makeover. On Monday, the Goldsboro City Council approved the site and landscape plans for the police and fire facility that sits on the 200-block of South Center Street.  The new additions approved for the building include a new public entrance, expanded evidence storage rooms and offices, and a new parking lot layout.  The existing building was constructed in 1977, and the additions will add over 6,600-square feet to the police and fire station.
