City Donates Downtown Buildings To DGDC

Goldsboro is donating four historic properties to the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation. DGDC Executive Director Julie Metz explained to the Goldsboro City Council this week the move should make it easier to get the buildings rehabilitated.  The four properties are located at 200, 204, and 206 E. Walnut Street, and 106 S. John Street. The City of Goldsboro and Wayne County have given the go-ahead for Rehab Development to renovate the four downtown buildings plus two others for future use.
