A Pikeville man is accused of stealing from his place of work. 43-year old Christopher W. Ham is charged with six counts of Larceny by an Employee, four counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, and one count of Financial Transaction Card Fraud.  On November 17th, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office received a report that while employed at East Coast Refrigeration and Air, Inc., Ham had used the company’s credit card to make unauthorized purchases and had stolen equipment from a work van.  Local pawnshop records allegedly show Ham had pawned the equipment.  Ham was arrested Saturday and held on $20,000 secured bond.
