WCC Closing Due To Approaching Storm

Wayne Community College campuses will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan, 3, and remain closed on Thursday, Jan. 4 due to the imminent inclement weather. All campus classes and activities are cancelled during this time. Operations are planned to resume at normal times on Friday, Jan. 5.

Updated information will be posted on the college’s Facebook page and its temporary website at
wayneccnc.com and will also be communicated through the WayneCC Alert system.

Online and hybrid classes will be available through Moodle beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4.

Registration for curriculum classes will remain open until Wednesday, Jan. 10 at noon. Tuition and student fees will be due at the same time.
The college’s payment plan also will be available to students until Wednesday, Jan. 10 at noon.

If you don’t need to be on the roads, please stay off the roads. With a possible mixture of freezing rain, ice, and snow, the conditions will be dangerous.
