“Know Your Rights” Community Conversation

During this Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, a community forum will discuss the rights, responsibilities and relationship between local citizens and law enforcement. The “Knowing Your Rights” community conversation is being held at 4 PM on Monday, Jan. 15, at the Kinston Enterprise Center, 327 N. Queen Street, Kinston.  The event is put together by the Kinston Community Relations Team, a citizens group dedicated to serving as a liaison between local law enforcement and the community to build trust, strengthen relationships and promote positive opportunities for engagement.
