Britt Signs Letter Of Intent With WCU

Members of the local media gathered at North Duplin High School Wednesday morning to get an interview with North Duplin Senior football player Luke Britt. Britt signed a letter of intent to play football for Western Carolina University in Cullowhee. Britt and the entire North Duplin football team went through the 2017 regular season with no losses, earning them a chance to play in the 1-A Championship Playoff Game against Cherokee in Raleigh.

Seated with Luke Britt are his brother James Britt, his mother Suzanne Britt, his father Ralph Britt. Standing with him are Athletic Director Ricky Edwards, Assistant Coach Brad Rhodes, and Head Coach Hugh Martin.
