Two Charged For B&E, Theft, Killing Pets

Two people are facing charges in Lenoir County for a case that involved a break-in, theft, animal cruelty, and property destruction. 17-year old Hallie L. Pate of Kinston and 18-year old Jordan A. Ruiz of Albertson are accused of breaking into a home on February 4th, killing the pets inside, stealing several items from the home and a vehicle, and then setting the vehicle on fire.  Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office detectives report using witness statements to locate where the stolen property had been sold, which identified the two suspects. Pate and Ruiz both face 12 charges, including counts of Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny and Felony Cruelty to Animals.  Both were held at the Lenoir County Detention Center with bond set at $50,000 secured each.

Very sad. Look close at their past and you will probably find they have been/are being abused. Some disturbed girls. I bet there is much, much more to this story.

Two discusting pieces of trash. They need to be put away forever as they will eventually kill a human. I wonder where they learned that type of behavior?

  8. They both need to be locked away. If they could kill a family pet that was probably tickled to see them, they are dangerous. If the animals were a threat, its a shame they didn’t get them first.. Be decent and get a job and quit stealing from hard working people.

    • Just read these two losers killed 2 parakeets. The birds belonged to 2 young girls. I know this was just plain mean and these girls are dangerous. Smeared blood on the kitchen cabinets too. Mean and cruel.
