New Bill Phases In Smaller Class Sizes

(NORTH CAROLINA NEWS NETWORK) — In yet another clash between Democratic Governor Roy Cooper and the GOP legislature, Cooper says he will let a bill pass, without his signature, that phases in class size reductions in early grades, but also deals with a combined elections-ethics boards and takes money from an agreement on the Atlantic Coast Pipeline and sends it to schools. Cooper says the bill also tackles changes in the state elections board which it should not have done.
