Goldsboro Approves Funds For Technology Improvements

The City of Goldsboro makes plans to spend nearly $500,000 on technology upgrades.

On Monday, the Goldsboro City Council authorized the installment financing for the hardware to enhance the city’s network.

The $478,000 for the first phase of the upgrades will include $360,000 for 90 new laptops in police and fire vehicles.

The city is planning to approve spending another $372,000 for the second phase of equipment upgrades in August.
