Walter Ronald “Ronnie” Foss, 68, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Wayne UNC Hospital.

Ronnie was born in Duplin County on April 22, 1949 to the late Buddy and Louise S. Foss. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Ronnie retired from Dupont and following retirement he began working with Delmus Hardware in Goldsboro. He was a member of Walnut Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Tony McLamb officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Sandra Powell Foss and her children, Mavis Williams and husband Jake, Billy Hall Jr. and wife Ruth and Terry Hall; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Foss and wife Nannie; sister, Karen Weston and husband Brian; and several nieces and nephews.
