Child Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle

A young pedestrian is injured in a Goldsboro traffic accident. Around 9 AM Saturday morning, the 4-year-old was walking with another person along the 900 block of N. Herman Street.  According to the Goldsboro Police Department report, a dog inside a fenced-in yard charged at the pedestrians, frightening the child.  The 4-year-old jumped into the road and was struck by a vehicle.  The child was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital.  According to the police report, no charges were filed in the accident.
