Threat Of Severe Storms Later Today

The National Weather Service is warning some severe storms may sweep across North Carolina on Sunday.  A few isolated storms can’t be ruled out as early as 1 PM Sunday afternoon, but the bulk of the storm activity is expected to move across the central and eastern areas of the state from 4 PM until 1 AM.  The storms will carry the potential for hail, isolated tornadoes, wind, and flooding.
