First Responders Celebration (PHOTO GALLERY)

The Wayne Regional Agricultural Fairground hosted the First Responders Celebration Day this Saturday. This year’s event brought out all sorts of emergency responder vehicles from law enforcement to fire units from throughout the county and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office “Raven” helicopter was also on display along with the sheriff’s SWAT vehicle and the Goldsboro Police Department’s tactical vehicle.  The GPD and Seymour Johnson brought their working dogs.  The North Carolina Forest Service brought their plow and ground units, and attendees were also treated to sight of the very first Krispy Kreme delivery truck.
