Saturday morning, members of the Dudley Fire Department woke up to the task of getting their two new fire trucks ready for service. On Thursday morning, the two brand new 2018 fire trucks were delivered to the station.

The new E-One engine is a six-man custom-built Typhoon class and has a 2,000 GPM Hale Q-max pump with a poly III tank that carries 1,000 gallon of water. It also has a 30 gallon Integral class “A” foam cell.

The second truck is a Kenworth T-370 E-One Tanker that has a 1,250 GPM Hale Pump and the capabilities of carrying 1,830 gallons of water in the new poly III tank.

Dudley firefighters are hoping to have both trucks ready for service in the next few days.
