Grand Opening For New EMS Station (PHOTO GALLERY)

A new EMS station will help serve northeastern areas of Wayne County.

EMS Station 10 was officially opened during a celebration on Thursday.

The building at 4682 N. Highway 111 was formerly operated by the Antioch Volunteer Fire Department.

Wayne County purchased the building earlier this year.

The facility was retrofitted and remodeled to house a 24 hour EMS crew and two engines from the Patetown Volunteer Fire Department.

GDN needs a new photographer, never any photos of the outside of the new facilities such as the new hangar in Mt Olive
