GPD Arrests Statutory Rape Suspect

Goldsboro Police say they caught a statutory rape suspect in the act. Just before 1 AM Tuesday, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on the 1700 block of Harrell Street.  The officers noticed a vehicle with its running lights on backed into a driveway of a vacant home listed for sale.  When officers approached the vehicle, they reportedly found two subjects having intercourse in the back seat.  19-year-old Cyrone R. James of Wilson was arrested for Statutory Rape of a Child less than 15.  The GPD says the investigation into the case continues.
