Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni & Friends Parade (PHOTO GALLERY)

Thousands of people lined the streets of Downtown Goldsboro Saturday morning to welcome the home the Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni and Friends.  Saturday’s parade was just one of the activities for the organization during its annual homecoming weekend.  Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni and Friends also handed out scholarships to local students and elected new leadership.  This year’s homecoming paid special tribute to Dillard and Goldsboro High School graduating classes that ended in either “3” or “8.”

I havent read of any shootings this weekend, which is uncharacteristic of Goldsboro. Maybe we should have one of these parades every weekend.
