Second Suspect Charged For May Shooting In Goldsboro

The Goldsboro Police Department responded to the shooting May 11th on the 1700 block of S. Slocumb Street.  One person was found suffering from a gunshot wound and had to be transported to Wayne UNC Health Care for treatment.  The GPD now reports 21-year-old DeShawn E. McKinnon of Goldsboro was arrested June 4th in relation to the shooting.  McKinnon is charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill.  He was held at the Wayne County Jail under a $500,000 secured bond.

D’Qurious A. Bradford was already arrested in relation to the shooting and held on a $1 million secured bond.
