Fall Registration For WCC Classes Scheduled

Those who plan to take classes at Wayne Community College in the fall 2018 semester are advised to register as early as possible to get the courses and schedule they want.

Open registration for fall college credit courses will be held 8 a.m.-7 p.m., on Wednesday June 20, and Thursday, June 21, on the main campus in Goldsboro.

The next registration opportunities will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m., July 16, July 17, and Aug. 14; and 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Aug. 15.

Students are encouraged to register as soon as possible to have the best selection of courses. A complete schedule of fall courses can be found at www.waynecc.edu/course-schedules/.

New students must complete the enrollment process, take any necessary placement tests, and be accepted in order to register for classes. The steps that new students need to take are explained at http://www.waynecc.edu/apply-now/.

Classes offered on campus and the base, as well as distance education courses, start Aug. 16 and end Dec. 14.

Tuition and fees are due July 12 for students who register in June, Aug. 2 for those who register in July, and Aug. 15 for those who register in August. The college’s payment plan is one option for those who cannot pay out of pocket; find details at www.mycollegepaymentplan.com/waynecc.

Orientation sessions have been scheduled for dates throughout the summer. New students can register to attend one of the two-hour sessions by going to www.waynecc.edu/orientation/.
