Jesse Henderson Holmes

July 15, 87, Mt. Olive

Jesse Henderson Holmes, 87 of Mt. Olive passed away Sunday at the Brian Center. He was the son of the late Edwin and Eliza Louise Holmes and the widower of Hazel Lewis Holmes. Mr. Holmes was a sales clerk for the North Carolina ABC Board, and had attended Mt. Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A funeral service will be held in the mausoleum chapel of Wayne Memorial Park on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeff Dale officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Holmes is survived by his children, Ray Holmes of Goldsboro, Jesse Thomas Holmes of Atlanta, Robert Holmes of Mt. Olive, Pam Pate, of Goldsboro, and Dawn Mason, La Grange; a brother, Edwin Holmes, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jennifer Rouse, Madeline Mason, Travis Blalock, Brittany Holmes, Mychayla Moore, Sabrina Sawkii, Steven Pate, Sean Pate, and Stephanie Pate; and great grandchildren, Dylan Pate, Ashley Pate, Steven Pate, Samara Pate, Kevin Anderson, Angelina Cander, Otto Moore, Elizbeth Blalock, Mary Catherine Blalock, Clara Blalock.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Mt. Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 130 Ed Edmundson Rd., Mt. Olive, NC 28365.
