GPD Investigates Early Morning Robbery

A woman tells Goldsboro Police she had her cellphone and medicine stolen by two unknown males. The common law robbery was reported to the Goldsboro Police Department around 5:30 AM Friday morning.  The 37-year-old woman from Seven Spring told officers she was followed by two males as she walking along Wayne Memorial Drive from Cirlce K to Willow Creek Retirement Home.  While sitting on a brick wall at the retirement home, the victim was pushed to the ground by the suspects who then made off with the woman’s cellphone, phone charger, blanket, and medicine.  The woman was unable to identify the two men but says one was short and one was tall.
