Suspect Allegedly Stole Jewelry During Repair Work

A repairman is accused of stealing jewelry from a Wayne County home. On August 2nd, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office took a larceny report concerning the theft of jewelry that occurred at a residence in the east side of the county.  The investigation reportedly determined 29-year-old Dustin G. Andras of Wilson was doing home repairs at the residence at the time the larceny occurred.  It was also determined the stolen jewelry was sold at pawnshops throughout multiple counties.  Andras has been arrested for felony charges of Larceny, Possession of Stolen Goods, and Obtaining Property by False Pretenses.  His bond was set at $1,000 secured.  The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is continuing and further arrests are pending.
