James William Farmer

October 7, 63, 

James William Farmer, 63, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at his home.

James was born in Wayne County on February 14, 1955 to Frances Tyner Hinnant of Pikeville and the late Jake Farmer.

In addition to his mother, James is survived by a sister, Betty Waters and husband Mike of Grantham; brothers, Robert Farmer of Destin, FL and Billy Farmer and wife B.J. of Goldsboro; niece, Mitzi Farmer and husband Josh Brandon; and nephews, Billy Farmer and Joe Farmer and wife Karen.

In addition to his father, James was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard A. Hinnant and brother, Timmy Farmer.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 12, 2018 in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
