Suspect Arrested During Motor Vehicle Break-In

A suspect apparently picked the wrong time to break into cars in Goldsboro. According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers were patrolling near the 1100 block of N. William Street around 11 PM Wednesday, October 3rd, when they noticed several doors open on vehicles in a car lot.  Officers found a male subject in one of the vehicles.  38-year-old Sammy R. Braswell, Jr. of Goldsboro was arrested and charged with three counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle.  He was taken to the Wayne County Jail with bond set at $6,000 secured.

    Another career criminal with a history of Burglary, larceny communicating threats, second degree trespass, resisting officer, defrauding innkeeper, regulation of begging, drug paraphernalia, b & e vehicles, and post release revocation. Maybe lock him up a little longer this time
