City Plans Volunteer Workday At T.C. Coley Center

Goldsboro is invited to come together to help spruce up the T.C. Coley Community Center before its grand opening.

The city will host the community workday at the T.C. Coley Center this Saturday, November 10th from 8 AM – 2 PM.

Work will take place from 8 AM – 12 PM.

Lunch and a celebration will follow from 12 – 2 PM.

After the work is completed, volunteers will be able to contribute to a mural of handprints that will be displayed at the T.C. Coley building.

The former W.A. Foster Center at 516 S. Leslie Street was renamed the T.C. Coley Community Center following community input.

The volunteer workday will ensure the facility’s grounds are looking their best for the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the reopening and renaming of facility scheduled for November 21st at 10 AM.
